ITP stands for Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura. Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura is the medical term used to describe the condition of having an abnormally low platelet count (thrombocytopenia) of no know cause (idiopathic). The purpose of this blog is to inform you and give you advice on how to deal with ITP by raising your platelet levels. We will be exploring many alternative treatments, that actually treat the problem, not the symptoms. It is my goal to help all ITP sufferers regain controll of their lives with out having to suffer through the painful side effects of modern day treatments.
